Hi and Howdy! This blog will document the work made by us (Inês Salpico and T. Foley) within Master Artist Bob Holman's Associate Artists' group at Atlantic Center for the Arts (ACA) from February 16, 2009 through March 8, 2009. As individuals, we applied to ACA to work with Bob (a poet) because we wanted to use text as a performative and media production tool. Our collaboration grew out of shared appreciation for the surreality of the commonplace. We decided to respond to our group's poetry assignments and prompts in a non-literal mode, making conceptual poetic work out of actions, interventions and performances.Tuesday, February 24, 2009
