What other exotic creatures frequent the grounds of the residency program? One morning we met two ladies who were visiting the campus and curious about the artist programs. We answered their questions about what we were working on, showed them the existing flora/fauna placards on the pathways, asked if they'd pose as subjects for us. They happily agreed to be a part of our project.
Another Associate Artist, Guy Richards Smit, contributed an illustration for the project-in-progress. ACA staff members Nick Conroy and Jim Frost connected us to a local printing company, and helped us prepare document proofs before sending the work. Our placard was installed Monday March 2nd.
