While working on lots of other projects, Neat Series took the time during the residency to record these two versions of the old piano classic "Heart and Soul." Dedicated to Foley's friend, Erica Brusselars (in Pittsburgh), the tones were recorded by Salpico in ACA's Ruth Scorgie Hubbard Music Studio, and feature Foley's two very naive renditions of the tune.
Backstory: Brusselars has a piano in her dining room and Foley often coaxes guests into playing "Heart and Soul" with her at dinner parties. Brusselars has provided the material inspiration for two of Foley's projects--Hazardous Materials and Men Seeking Women. She totally deserves ringtone payback!
